How can I set an HTTP Proxy address to be used for making requests to telegram servers?

Telegram servers don't support http proxy because the telegram doesn't work over HTTP. It uses a custom protocol instead.

You can use socks5 proxy. The HTTP connect method should be theoretically possible, but not implemented yet
