I tried https://github.com/iiegor/ptyw.js. It works in Windows 10, still fails in Windows 10 IoT Core.

Please clone the latest version and try to reproduce the problem.

After doing some research, it seems to be related to a Google Chrome issue https://bugs.chromium.org/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=795735.
