Cannot build with latexmk

I have configured compilation to use Latexmk, however gummi is not able to produce any build

build log contains something like: This is pdfTeX, Version 3.1415926-2.5-1.40.14 (TeX Live 2013/Debian) restricted \write18 enabled. entering extended mode

compilation works with by running manually latexmk foo.tex

Gummi version: 0.6.5

any hits how to further investigate this?
