Doesn't work in Reader Mode

Open githottub opened this issue 1 year ago • 3 comments

As subject states, doesn't do anything when Chrome is in Reader Mode. Which is a big problem because using Reader Mode gets rid of all the extraneous ads and other junk on the page that are not wanted in the created ePub.

I usually remove ads and whatevers by hand via the css style editor. The reader mode is not supported, there are other issues already opened (and a discussion on the PR section).

Sadly, I don't think this extension is maintained anymore.... I correct by myself the issues I found using it...

In Firefox there is (still) a bug that prevents a web ext to access data in reader modehttps://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1286387 ... I don't know about Chrome, I'll have to look into it.

I didn't have time to add new features / updates lately but I plan a new version by the end of the year.

If you need some help, I patched your extensions several times last year in order to fix bugs or adapt it to my needs.
