How to save the result as LDR image

Current code saves the result as HDR image. How can I convert to a LDR and save it for display?

you can use Photomatix to transform .hdr files into visible LDR files.

You can use psftools or imagmagick to convert the .hdr file to .png.

However, the .png generated using either of those tools is very dark. I have attached the hdr file generated from the test image after conversion to PNG. image

However, if I open the .hdr file in preview on Mac and export it to PNG, it appears like the example shown in the README.

It would be nice to have an automated way to convert the .hdr "correctly" to .png or other more common formats.
