Animatable not working
I had been using Tissue v. 0.3.25 and created an animateable tessellated model. Tessellation and animation worked fine in the 3d viewport. However, I wanted to render out the animation and found that wasn't possible in the version that "shipped" with Blender 2.91. I have installed version 0.3.48, but even with the animateable button clicked the animation no longer plays in the viewport nor does it export using Tissue's "render animation" button. When I return to v. 0.3.25 animation will play again.
Am I missing a step somewhere with version 0.3.48?
Hi @brkmyr1 thanks for reporting that. This is actually one problem that is not easy, but I thought that using Tissue Render Animation did the trick.
Can you please describe what happens when you use it? Just make sure that you export individual frames instead of a video file.
Hi Alessandro, I think I realized what has caused the problem for me. As I saw your question I decided to try to run the animation and "render animation" function again, but I found some other changes I made to the scene earlier today "broke" it. The scene was not rendering correctly at all (unrelated to the original issue).
Is a result I ended up resetting a bunch of materials and completely rebuilding the tessellation. Now the animation works again in the viewport and "render animation" is working. I think the problem is that I originally built the animation in version 3.25. Rebuilding it in 3.48 seems to have fixed the problem.
I see, yes, I did some more structural changes at some point, and this may definitely be the cause. Glad to hear that it works now. In the future, I will focus on baking the tessellation in order to prevent many issues. Let's see :-)
