Adding apps as default value

Hi! i would like to tell you i love your app, and since i use it as my default launcher, sometimes i need to factory reset my tvbox, so i made a custom image with the default apps and everything i use, so i want to know if you can give some way or example to put the app that i use by default in the launcher, youtube, netflix, chrome and the settings, there is a way to do this? maybe adding some lines into the setup file? i modify the default value for grid in x from 3 to 2 and it worked

I have ported this into android studio but I am not able to figure out yet where do this. I do not know which file to go and put apps as default so that when we factory reset the box then we don't have to add the apps manually. I have the same problem where people in my family do factory reset for every single issue rather than figuring out what the actual problem is then call me to fix it. I want to get out of this free tech support for my family :) So, if anyone can guide where to go and while file we can do this I would really appreciate that. I have the apps preinstalled on the box so that everytime its factory reset the apps stay there. I am using tx3 mini.

Also, how can we increase the size of the icons.
