Network Diagram Labels

With the network diagrams, the automatic ... ellipsis and summarised text aren't working so well for me. It would be really good if the user could control the label length or have a mode that just displayed full-length strings. I know there are no easy options here - just a thought.

Thanks for bringing this to our attention. You're right there are never any easy solutions to challenges such as this, but network diagrams are something that we want to get right, so we really appreciate the feedback.

Alright. After some discussion we're going to move forward in this way:

  • When a node is selected in a diagram. Then the label will stop being summerised and the full text will be displayed.

Sounds good. A niggly suggestion - were I printing the diagram it might be good to see everything expanded, but thanks for the resolution.
