Loading time for mp3 with Pizzicato super slow

Hello there, thanks for this amazing library.

I am developing a website and I noticed that if I load a Mp3 file with Pizzicato the loading time can be 30 times slower that if I load the same file with HTML normal tag.

Is that a reason why this is happening? I tried on all browsers and with different files.

Did somebody encounter the same issue?
