Hello!

Events in the World have significantly influenced me this year, there was no time to do anything other than necessary, I will not go into details.

I developed this plugin during my vacation for my needs and decided to share it. I use the plugin on my machine with Kubuntu (linux), I didn't update the Obsidian for a long time. I only tested other operating systems when the plugin was published. So, it is poorly maintained.

I don’t use the plugin often, since I mainly work with text information as a software developer. But when I meet illustrations, their content is critical, which is why I made a download plugin to not detect empty links when I need to return for information. It is really nice to know that not only I need Local Images, but it is embarrassing to look into the GitHub repository: unsorted issues, open pull requests, which there is no time to consider qualitatively, but if I do it somehow, I can make the situation even worse than now.

To analyze and prioritize issues, reproduce defects, and test PRs as a user, I need someone who can act as an analyst in the project.

I have some connections in my local software development community, and I suppose I could find developers for such plugins that ready to work to train software development skills and senior developers to mentoring them.

So, if someone can take a role of analyst, project manager and software tester we can establish a volunteer team to support this and|or another plugins for Obsidian.

I suppose, that person for the Analyst role should be:

• Obviously, an active user of Obsidian would be best suited for this role.
• At least a basic level of English is needed, to communicate on Github.
• Experience in management requirements for software products, testing, project or product management would help, but you can compensate for the desire to get them and free time for this

I'll say that this activity is completely non-commercial, and you shouldn't expect any benefits except for making a useful tool, gaining experience in development, and getting loud fame )

Thank you @aleksey-rezvov for the detailed update. I just wanted to reach out to the Obsidian forum to help find volunteers when I found that Sergei Korneev has announced his own version of obisidian-local-images there. Just an idea, but maybe you and Sergei can join forces, rather than doing the same work twice?
