What problem does this feature solve?

Support for the Meson build system.

I noticed support for CMake is included here which is awesome! I would like to propose the inclusion of another popular build system called Meson. Although probably not as popular as CMake, Meson is on the up-and-up in open-source communities, and definitely has as bright a future as CMake does.

What feature do you propose?

Ability to provide syntax highlighting for Meson build system files.
