Authentication no longer occuring

EXPECTED BEHAVIOUR

New browser tab opens up when Toastify is started asking for Spotify authentication.

ACTUAL BEHAVIOUR

New browser tab opens with the following text: Missing required parameter: client_id

STEPS TO REPRODUCE THE BEHAVIOUR

1. Start Toastify

Same here, it started happening a few days ago (but I can't remember if it was in sync with an update on the Spotify client, now sitting at v1.1.2.285.ga97985ef in my PC)

I have this issue now, Is there a known fix?

I had this issue, too, but I think I found a fix. I uninstalled Toastify and deleted the temporary files in the Local and Roaming AppData folders on my computer. After reinstalling, I got a different connection error in my web browser, but this time from Spotify. After I restarted my computer, a message asking for permission for Toastify to access my Spotify data popped up and everything worked like normal.
