New FPS SPRX makes console boot to safe mode when added to boot_plugins.txt
Hello webMAN-MOD developers! I have come across a, bug you could call it. When adding the new FPS counter SPRX to your boot_plugins.txt, upon booting a game or application, the console will boot into Safe Mode. Now, I don't know if this is a one time thing, or just a issue with the game I used. I will conduct further testing. Thanks, James
Some more info: PS3 Model: CECH-2501A Boot Plugins contents: /dev_hdd0/plugins/ps3xpad/xpad_game.sprx /dev_hdd0/plugins/ps3xpad/xpad_vsh.sprx /dev_hdd0/plugins/webftp_server.sprx /dev_hdd0/tmp/wm_res/video_rec.sprx /dev_hdd0/tmp/wm_res/VshFpsCounter.sprx /dev_hdd0/tmp/wm_res/wm_vsh_menu.sprx Firmware: EVILNAT 4.88 COBRA 8.3 Game that caused the issue: METAL GEAR RISING: REVENGANCE
EDIT: When i exited Safe Mode and the console reloaded the VSH, webMAN seemed to have been corrupted. The webMAN Games folder was gone, and it did not show the load message on boot.
When the system crashes Cobra gets disabled and webMAN Games disappear from XMB. It is solved enabling Cobra from CFW Tools menu in Network column.
If you enter to Recovery Menu the boot_plugins.txt gets deleted and webMAN is not loaded. This is solved reinstalling webMAN or uploading a new boot_plugins.txt
NONE of these plugins should be included in boot_plugins.txt, they are loaded dynamically by webMAN MOD: /dev_hdd0/tmp/wm_res/video_rec.sprx <= press SELECT+R3+L2+R2 to load it and unload webMAN /dev_hdd0/tmp/wm_res/VshFpsCounter.sprx <= press R3+L3 for a couple of seconds /dev_hdd0/tmp/wm_res/wm_vsh_menu.sprx <= press SELECT for about 3 seconds
If you need to load VshFpsCounter.sprx from boot_plugins.txt you can use the older the version 2.0: https://github.com/TheRouletteBoi/RouLetteVshMenu/releases/tag/fps-counter-2.0
@aldostools Ran into another issue, if i load the FPS counter, and disable COBRA from the in-game XMB, exiting the game will cause the console to soft lock, and not reload the VSH.

The FPS Counter plugin is still a proof of concept. Although that plugin is included in wMM, the developer is @TheRouletteBoi. You can try creating an issue in his repository or try an older version.
The initial release 1.0 of the plugin is very basic, but seems to be stable. https://github.com/TheRouletteBoi/RouLetteVshMenu/releases/tag/1.0
