Ability to Separate PSN titles from PS3 titles

Hi I have been loving webman and I had an issue where I was finally able to get PSN installed titles showing on webman bit I can only get them to show on the PS3 section. I wanted to know if it is possible or if it would be possible to add a feature to separate PSN as its own category in webman mods so that it does not get merged with PS3. Thanks again and keep up the great work

Thank you for your comments. XMB already has an official feature for that: Albums. It let you group PSN games in any number of folders (Albums) with any name that you prefer. It is very helpful to classify PSN games in categories like: Backup Managers, Tools, PS2 Classics, Demos, PSN, etc.

Basically you press TRIANGLE on the PSN game, go to Information, enter an Album name and press CIRCLE. Repeat for each game. Press SQUARE on XMB to group by Album, by Format or Show All.

Hi I understand what you're saying for this and I already use albums but the issue is that I don't want to use albums for my PSN games I want to use webman for my PSN games and I have 2 issues. One issue is the fact that you can get PSN games to show on webman mod in the "games" folder but that will also make every homebrew and other utility show in webman which I do not want, and the other issue is that all PSN games are categorized as PS3 on webman making it where they are mixed in with my disc iso games which I do not want. Please let me know if there is a feature to already address these 2 issues within webman or if there is a possibility to add these features to webman I think that these issues are pretty major if you cannot separate PSN from PS3 within webman as you can other platforms, and you cannot blacklist PSN or any other games that you do not want to show up within webman, making the current implementation of PSN games worthless to me.

Edit: I didn't see that you said there is a wm ignore file for one of my issues. For that issue would you just be able to tell me where that file would be placed so I can test that part out. Thank you again

You can edit the file from /setup.ps3

Or upload the file directly to /dev_hdd0/tmp/wm_res/wm_ignore.txt

Ok thanks for that information. So is there any solution for my other issue of PSN being mixed in with PS3 games?

If you don't want them listed in PS3, I suggest you to exclude them from webMAN list and just use the albums.

You can promote the webMAN folders to the main list of Games category, so they will mix with the albums.

Or you could try to customize /dev_hdd0/wm_custom.xml to make it list the PSN games in albums or use a hardcoded list.
