File Extension mask for ps2.iso.bin.enc
In webman games, the extention .enc is hidden or masked when displayed. Can you mask the rest of the iso.bin part too? So it doesn't show on the xmb either? Currently it shows as; GameName.bin I would like it to just show; GameName
Thank you for all the great work ! =)
Tl; dr From a comment of yours on the Apollo github, i noticed that I can omit the iso part of the file name and the game is still launched fine with placeholder on hen 3.0.2. Hfw 4.87.
So I tried to remove the bin part so it wouldn't show on the xmb in webman games. That didn't work with the game I tried. Showed an error about the config file. The game I tried didn't have a config file when I looked through the ps2config and webman mod game folders.
@retrosapien the PS2 Classics only need the extension .BIN.ENC (all upper case). The extension is removed automatically.
If you use filename.ISO.BIN.ENC you can omit the ".ISO". i.e. use filename.BIN.ENC
If the issue persists, please provide a specific example, with pictures. I will help me to reproduce your scenario.
For /ps2iso/ I was naming as /titleid.Name/ISO.BIN.ENC And on xmb it says Name/ISO.BIN When I seen your advice I changed to /titleid.Name.BIN.ENC now on xmb it shows Name.BIN
if titleid is not EXACTLY slus_xxx.xx, And at the beginning of the filename, Then it will show as part of the Name. That is true for psxiso too.
For ps3iso files the titleid is slusxxxxx And the Name seems to be coming from somewhere else. Sfo maybe? For ps3 I used irisman, though.
