copy.ps3 to usb(ntfs)

I tried to backup my game folder to usb using these urls(uri?); http://10.10.10.20/copy.ps3/dev_hdd0/game&to=/dev_ntfs0:/dev_hdd0/game http://10.10.10.20/copy.ps3/dev_hdd0/game&to=/dev_ntfs0/dev_hdd0/game

using Firefox 52.9.0 (32-bit) on Vista the tab has been loading forever. and i got an error after both(not sure if the first url had a different error.) Error! Destination: /dev_hdd0/game

On my ps3 (CECH-3001B using Hen 3.0.2 on hfw 4.86) it is frozen in the browser. i cant connect any game pad, even with usb. i can still ping the ps3, but there is no response with any command in the browser, even /shutdown.ps3 it says waiting for <IP> in the bottom left.

i pushed power button once to get flashing green led until the ps3 shutdown. chkdsk did not find any problems.

not sure if this is a problem with my usb flash drive (lexar usb 3.0 128G) USB\VID_21C4&PID_0CD1&REV_1100 or maybe just because it is ntfs. previously i used irisman and managed to get about 90% of the game folder backed up before having issues there too. currently copying what i have to my network drive. maybe i can use wget/curl to get the rest? After banging my head on the wall a few times.

FileZilla is the recommended FTP client if you plan to transfer the content through the network.

Use ethernet cable or direct PS3-to-PC connection. Wireless is too slow.

I'm not using wireless. Haven't used wireless in years. Wired lan connection. Pc and ps3. I tried using ftp at first, but my network configuration is messed up(full?)

That's why I switched to USB. I'm only using the webserver so other people can use the tv while I struggle with backing up the ps3.

I was also using irisman at first, but I think it over writes by default, so not ideal at updating a backup directory.

Some folder sync commands would be well used. ;) ;)

I might try a direct ps3 -> pc connection when I get a long enough cable.

Thanks,

Tim

Thank you! Damn your quick. Haha I'll test out those new features on Monday probably. I'll try to give you some feedback if I don't forget.
