webman not ready
webman will work one time after reinstalling the fw or webman. BUT restart console and 'webman not ready'. i thought it would be the wifi card issue, but that can't be true since it does work until i restart the system. latest version of webman and evilnat are used. fresh formatted drive + installed fw twice. d-pex.
the webman macros function but can't refresh or edit settings.
update 1: i can toggle the issue on/off with 1 debug setting; boot mode. release mode = the problem system software mode = problem free
using latest evilnat dpex and latest webman. i tried my best to narrow it down. not sure what else i could do. any ideas would help.
Could you test if the issue also happens with Rebug REX 4.84 or Rebug LITE 4.86 or Evilnat CEX 4.92?
It could be an issue with CFW Evilnat PEX which is a heavily patched hybrid FW of CEX and DEX but from different FW versions.

Just to be clear, I'm downloading the software from the firmware archive @ https://archive.midnightchannel.net/SonyPS/Firmware/?cat=evilnat. These firmware version numbers are accurate. Including the MD5 for more accuracy.

I restarted the console multiple times when testing each process.

The success on CEX mode in various versions indicates that this is not an issue of webMAN-MOD. It seems there is something wrong with the Debug mode in the DEX conversion.
Maybe @Evilnat could add this issue to his backlog if he has time.

should i make a bug report to evilnat directly or can evilnat already see this post?
He is supposed to see the issues in this post, since I mentioned him. However it would be better to report it directly in his repository. You also can reach him on x.com/xxEvilnatxx or psx-place forums. However he hasn't been active for months.
UPDATE! All 4 of my controllers died while testing, so I had to wait a bit. I have more information on this bug.
- Dex > release mode > with a usb that has split game and movie iso/fat32 format/256gb usb 3.2
Everything that was reported before still stands, but I didn't take all the parameters into account; the usb. So this narrows it down further. The xmb takes longer to load while the usb is plugged in, this is an indication that webman isn't ready. All webman functions/macros still work. Just can't open the setup or refresh. BT on ps3 is functional.
