Webman is missing in XMB
Hello, I wanted to install webMAN MOD v1.47.45 on my PS3 SS console. I have already installed the latest HEN, and everything is working. However, after installing webMAN MOD via the package manager, it doesn't appear in the XMB, and I can't complete the installation. I have tried restarting and reinstalling, but it doesn't help.
Download the package from github releases page and copy the PKG to root of USB drive https://github.com/aldostools/webMAN-MOD/releases
Install the PKG using Package Manager. The installer should appear on XMB under Game column with the name "webMAN MOD 1.47.45 Installer". If it isn't listed, press SQUARE button to change the grouping mode until you find the installer.
After execute the installer, the PS3 will restart and you will need to enable HEN again.
The folder webMAN Games should appear when the scan of games is completed. If you don't get the folder unplug all USB drives, restart the console and enable HEN again.
Go to /setup.ps3, check "Disable content scan at startup" and save the settings. This will prevent that the plugin perform the scan every time the plugin is loaded. Use prepISO to scan your games.
I am doing everything exactly as you wrote, but the installation icon doesn't appear in the XMB
Maybe you installed some MOD or store that fucked your category_game.xml
Try reinstalling HFW 4.91 and HEN.
I haven't installed anything in between, because I installed HEN yesterday, and today I wanted to install webMAN. I didn't install anything in between
If you have the latest webMAN MOD already installed, extract the file webftp_server_full.sprx from the installer 1.47.45, rename it to webftp_server.sprx and replace manually the file /dev_hdd0/plugins/webftp_server.sprx
The installer should appear on XMB when you install the PKG. Once you use it, you can delete the installer. You can try installing a different version, just in case that PKG is corrupted.
how ican extract the file webftp_server_full.sprx from the installer 1.47.45?
You can do it on the PC using a PkgView by ifcaro.net, PS3P PKG Ripper by Rudi Rastelli, etc.
