Being prompted to update when the latest release is already installed
My webman icon no longer appears. When i enable hen im prompted that "boot plugins text has been deleted" and "Update webman mod from pkg" . These things only started happening after installing ultimate toolbox. My hen enabler icon has also disappeared so i enable from the ps3xploit.me website. Please help if you can.
The folder /app_home/PS3_GAME/ is the debug icon used by webMAN MOD to mount ROMS, PSN games and other apps.

The thing is I've tried reinstalling it and i still get the same prompt. Ive tried completely deleting webmanMod and reinstalling it but it does the same thing. (when ever i open the installer it just says "installing WebManMOD FULL" without me even pressing L1 or x ) I've also tried putting the boot plugins txt on a flash drive and even on the hdd0 .
I would reinstall HFW then HEN then webMAN MOD without install Ultimate Toolbox.

Hey thanks. So i just removed webMAN MOD and reinstalled HFW and HEN and the good news is that my HEN Enabler has returned and i dont have a boot plugins txt prompt any more. But the bad news is im trying to install webMAN MOD and its not working. It just says "installing webMAN MOD FULL" without letting me press L1 or X and after it "installs" it restarts my system and nothing happens or appears. No webman games folder and no /app_home/PS3_GAME either.
Try removing all USB drives before enable HEN. You can check if webMAN MOD is running pressing SELECT+START. If it's loaded, go to 0/setup.ps3 in the PS3 Internet browser, check "Disable content scanning at startup" and SAVE.
Use prepISO whenever you need to scan your games.

Thanks so much for all your help bro everything works just fine now. One last question tho. Is there a way i can get the launch PS3 coldboot and gameboot sound and logos working on my HEN system?
For the coldboot you have to replace the coldboot.raf in /dev_blind/vsh/resource. In the same directory you can change the coldboot sound replacing coldboot_multi.ac3 and coldboot_stereo.ac3 https://consolemods.org/wiki/PS3:Coldboots
Do not replace any sprx in /dev_blind. If you do that you can brick or semi brick your console.

Thanks man but will the game boot sound be included as well or just the animation?
I'm not sure about ps3 pro tool, but the multi_gameboot replaces both (sound & animation) when you mount a PS1, PS2, PS3, PSP or ROM through webMAN MOD.
I had tried to install the multi_gameboot for 4.89-4.91 but it didnt let me for some reason
Was i supposed to install the other one that says "install_multi_gameboot_req_dev_blind_enabled.pkg" ?

So I figured out that I needed to enable dev blind to install but the thing is when it installed and attempted to run a game it black screens and the PS3 shuts off(this is with any game). Had to delete webMAN MOD for that to stop. Did I do something wrong/ missed a step? I didn't do any of the coldboot stuff you mentioned before, all i did was install the pkg (the one for 4.89-4.91) and attempted to run a game.
Run multiMAN's File Manager and delete the folder /dev_hdd0/tmp/gameboot
After that you should be able to enable webMAN MOD without getting black screens.
