dock pinning does not appear to function

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. (dock position right)
2. set dock pinning to Start or End
3. quit dock
4. setting is not applied

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Dock should be pinned to selected position (start or end)

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
1.0.6, OS X 10.9.3

Please provide any additional information below.
I think this is a cAsE issue. Values are: "Start"; "Middle"; "End"; - but 
manually setting all-lowercase values work for me.
