Dual Topology Figure

In the dual topology example shown in the right side of Figure 3, shouldn't the H atom at the top ( and the M-placeholder in the middle) be connected to the C of the benzene rather than the dummy (M-placeholder)? The bottom figure of the dual topology with the dummy corresponding to H connected to the C is correct.

Was the original image made using photoshop/gimp? I can fix it if the "working-project" for this image is shared with me.
