Why do you really need mconnect on Ubuntu? Is KDE Connect not good for you?

Recent versions of KDE Connect (0.9+) shouldn't have a lot of dependencies on KDE frameworks :/

I just released version 1.27.1, which might (maybe, hopefully) fix the issue with having to pair the devices again and again. Let me know if it works.

It looks like pytorch already supports the M1 chip, so it might be enough to use `torch.device('mps')`. I'll give it a try.
