In case anyone is wondering - I was able to use the manual install method and the dll's for 2016 on a Sql Server 2017 instance. I have only done a basic test from JSON file, but the parsing worked fine.

Hi jfbleach. Thank you for sharing with us this info. For the future release I might add support for SQL2017 too via the automatic installer.

can you tell me how you got it to work for 2017? i tried and could not, only got it going for 2016

can you tell me how you got it to work for 2017? i tried and could not, only got it going for 2016 My memory is a little foggy, but I just remember following the manual install instructions. It does seem that the path for where to put the dll's might have changed for 2017.
