Error message "Error occurred while performing device wifi scanning"

Hi, I've been able to follow the Local Meross Broker instructions up to point 4 (I successfully completed the credentials configuration, installed the Meross Pairer App, and logged in with the custom pairer TEST).

Then, inside the app, I went to the "Pair" section. After the scan, I clicked on the single clickable option (SSID: Meross_SW_72EC, and the BSSID below). The phone successfully connected to the AP and fetched the device info, but it wasn't able to scan for Wi-Fi (I received an error message here). I tried the same thing with three different phones multiple times.

I saw a related issue by brunosso with another model (MSS305; I have an MSS210), but if I understand correctly, the problem is that pairing works with Bluetooth and not Wi-Fi. In my case, I'm able to see a Wi-Fi network called Meross_SW_72EC, so I decided to open a new issue.
