balance is not preserved
i have an older MBP where the left speaker is not functioning properly, and i set the system balance to be 25/75% to prevent distortion (sysprefs > sound > output > balance) when this app is running, any adjustments to the system volume, even without using the modifier key, reset the balance to 50/50.
Thank you for bringing this up. I suspect that this has to do with the way I steer the volume. I use the equivalent of an AppleScript command to change the system volume. Apparently this resets the volume balance. If this is the case, I would say that it is a bug from the side of Apple. It might be possible to avoid it by controlling the volume at a deeper level. In some previous version of the app, I believe, I was indeed doing this. I am sorry, but I have little time now to develop this feature. I will keep it in mind for future.
