Icon when changing volume

Since the last update the icon when changing volume is the same for system or iTunes. On previous version the volume speaker icon was with the red iTunes logo, it was ugly but really useful :)

I understand. It is unfortunately not so easy to restore the logo. At the present I am using undocumented functions of the MacOS to show the volume indicator. The alternative would be to recreate it from scratch. This has the disadvantage that every new release of MacOS, the graphics would need a restyling.

In the future I might try to add an overlay on top of the volume indicator, showing what is controlled.

The rules are however simple. If some music is playing on iTunes, then it is iTunes' volume to be controlled. Otherwise it is the system's. The same holds for Spotify. If both Spotify and iTunes are playing (which is a very unusual situation), the iTunes takes precedence over Spotify.

Understand but maybe just add a text after “Volume” like “Volume - iTunes”

But I thing is best to wait for the new music app now 🙃
