12 hour time format [Feature request]

There is no 12 hour time format, or am I missing something?

12 hour time format will make it a little easier to set alarm for some user.

There is in fact no 12 hour option at the moment.

There is a pull request to add support for it, but it was written before a major rewrite of the code, so it needs significant amount of time to get it fixed up and I haven't gotten around to it yet.
