How do I delete the program and icon?

Program will not launch correctly on ubunutu 22. I keep getting the error:

Bail out! alarm-clock-applet:ERROR:/home/user/alarm-clock-0.4.1/src/alarm-applet.c:319:alarm_applet_apps_load: assertion failed: (default_audio_app_item != NULL) Aborted (core dumped)

I thought removing the program, and reinstalling via the PPA might be best, but I cannot get the desktop icon to go away and the command alarm-clock-applet still tries to run when I type it in the terminal. How do I uninstall this program?
