Clearer difference between Alarm and Timer button

Open joh opened this issue 8 years ago • 3 comments

Is difficult to differentiate between Alarm and Timer buttons, it's not clear which one is the selected one, at least with default Unity Ubuntu desktop.

Maybe this is more a gnome bug, since happen also with other software's like Guake tabs.

(by danmbox) I've been bit by this many, many times. It's not a new GNOME thing. The UI was designed to be as symmetrical as possible, which is why you can't really tell. But it looks pretty, in some sense.

(by humblecoffee) Definitely agree. This part of the UI could be improved. I'm often adding new alarms when I actually meant to create a new timer.
