Alarms repeating twice

Installed on Ubuntu. Each alarm sounds twice rather than once. This occurs from the play button on the alarm setup as well as during actual alarm operation. I've confirmed the sound file only contains one instance - for example a single bell, but the alarm is repeated twice. Repeat sound checkbox is NOT checked.

Imported from Launchpad using lp2gh.
