productLocker Plugin Request

With the change in VMware Tool deployment and the recommendation of changing the hosts productLocker location to a shared datastore, could a plugin be created to report on this and either show where all hosts are configured to look, or like other plugins, set a desired location and report on hosts that do not have that location set?
