Watchdog lock kept locked if something bad happend

Is the 2nd time that the watchdog refuses to work because a lock is forgotten on the Redis lock backend. It should have an automatic unlock timeout. (EXPIRE key?)

At some point in the past I wrote a mid-detailed explanation of how this code works and sent by email to someone. I will seek that and will post here.
