I also get this error. Neither the local ip, nor the external IP, which is accessable via internet, does work. Even the IP from NabuCasa does not work.

It does not matter, if i use https or http, i get the error of the server, which got in trouble.

Found the Solution: FULLY activate 2 Factor authentification on amazon, then it works.

I have this issue as well. @ATVTourismus what do you mean by "fully"? I have enabled 2FA already (using a phone and an authenticator app).

Somewhere in the settings on amazon you could choose to 2FA to get always an OTP-Code, whenever you want to login. i activated this and now i need to type in the code, whenever i want to login to my account.

I also used http instead of https and in the last try i did not enter any authentification key (the long one you choose instead of scanning the barcode!).

Oh, i forgot to say, that i cleared my browser-cache and rebooted HA before that.

Sorry for the terrible english, but it is not my native tongue.

thanks for your answer. However, am I now forced to activate 2FA in my Amazon account to then be able to install Alexa media player? when I install the integration, I'm asked for a 6-digit code in addition to my username and password. should I write something or not? Thank you

You should get on OTP Code via phone (or the auth app you chose), type this one in. This way the registration for the media player should work.

if i recall it correctly: i wasn't asked to type in any captcha after activating 2FA on Amazon. Only my email, password and OTP-code

I meant to say this. when I install the Amazon Alexa integration, I have to enter: username, password, website (Amazon.it). when the site asks me to log in to Amazon, I have to type in my credentials again. in this case I must then enter the opt code or code from the app chosen by me. I don't have to insert any opt code in your integration right?
