Sake vs Ansible?
What are the key differences between Ansible and Sake? I can use Ansible to run tasks on different computers.
Probably a duplicate of #11.
There's a new doc covering comparison to Ansible, https://sakecli.com/ansible.
Biggest show stopper is that ansible doesn't run on windows, only against windows. So you can't do standalone provisioning.
I'm looking for a companion to my dotfiles. Some people call this bootstrapping.
I came from a bunch of custom powerhell and bash scripts, I want a unified approach like ansible, but with easier install and actually able to work on windows.
I looked at Comtrya, while it's the closest to what i need in spirit, it has many problems that make it unreliable and confusing to use.
What would you like to see in sake that handles your use case?
