Start date / hide until date
Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe. I am a big proponent of minimalistic and uncluttered workspaces. Sometimes I get a bit overwhelmed when seeing a large list of tasks in a project, while many of them are tasks I don't have to worry about at the moment. I could schedule them on a specific date, but then it's still visible in my task list.
Describe the solution you'd like I think it would be great if there was an option to hide a task until a specific (start) date. So that way you can say "okay I don't have to worry about it until next week" for example. And since it's hidden you can really stop worrying about it. But there should also be an option to show hidden tasks of course in case you made a mistake.
An alternative way would be to not hide it completely, but grey it out and put it at the bottom.
Describe alternatives you've considered I've tried using the already existing deadlines feature, but as mentioned above, the tasks still show up in various places which causes me to re-read them and still worry about them.
Additional context Maybe this feature request is obsolete and I'm just using Planner in the wrong way. If so, can someone please provide me some tips for not getting overwhelmed when you have a lot of tasks?
Can't you just use priority tags for that? Or you can always just use "Upcoming" to see what needs to get done first.
I kind of understand what you're saying though as I also miss the "My Day" function in Microsoft To Do
The solution for this would be to add a filter by dates.
