[Feature Request] Option to reduce/disable animations

Open DanielFablicio opened this issue 4 months ago • 3 comments

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe. In my case, the animations give me a feeling of slowness and I would like to be able to disable them.

Describe the solution you'd like A checkbox in the settings that allows you to disable animations.

Describe alternatives you've considered If it is not possible to disable them, then they could optionally be reduced to a minimum.

Additional context Just sorry if the option already exists and I haven't found it.

And congratulations on the project. I haven't used it much, but I'm already enjoying it a lot. The text was translated into English using Google Translate, so please forgive any potential errors.

Hi, and thanks for using Planify. What type of animation are you referring to? There are so many that I’m not sure which one you mean. Planify was created with a smooth and fast user interface in mind.

The animations don't take long, but it's an impression that sticks in my head hahaha. And, in this case, I was referring to the transitions (like when you click on a task and it expands).

What type of animation are you referring to?

The "task successfully added" one that is played inside task adding popup is actually quite annoying. Even if for a split second, it blocks the interface preventing user from interacting with application.

Other animations are more meaningful as they are showing where the user should look or what has changed, but this one just forces a sort of timeout.
