Unable to move task to another list

Open tenebrisnox opened this issue 1 year ago • 3 comments

Describe the bug When I try to move an already-existing task in an already-existing list to another already-existing list it fails to move. (eg. When I try to move a task from my "Next Week" list to "This Week" it temporarily disappears and then remains in the list. It gives an "Oops! Something happened" error.)

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Click on task item
  2. Click on 'MOVE' option
  3. Choose list to move item to (in my case Next Week to This Week)
  4. Error "Opps! Something happened appeared"

Expected behavior Task item moves from current list to another existing list.

Desktop (please complete the following information):

  • Ubuntu
  • 24.04.1 LTS
  • Gnome

Additional context I'm using Planify 4.11.6. I use Nextcloud CalDAV to maintain tasks across devices. (This action works if I do the same thing in the iOS Reminders app - so I don't think it has to do with my Nextcloud setup.)

I am experiencing the same problem.

On mobile when moving through Tasks.org app it works just fine.

Hi! A fix was recently pushed to handle moving tasks in Nextcloud. Were you able to reproduce the issue with a newer version of Planify?
