Turn markdown checklists into individual notes

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe. To more quickly prototype notes when I'm in meetings, I usually open a note and start writing check lists in markdown of important information. During the meeting, I'm usually updating theses notes/checklists because of a better understanding of the problem, changed requirements, etc. and it would be nice if I could turn these into individual tasks/subtasks in the program later.

Describe the solution you'd like I would like functionality that given a note, turns it's checklists into tasks, with substasks accordingly. I define notes as either:

  • task marked as note
  • description of a task
  • markdown file in my computer

Describe alternatives you've considered Manually turning theses notes into tasks manually, or by a scriptable interface in Planify.

Additional context I come from Joplin, which is basically a note-taking app in markdown with checking boxes support. I like having disorganized data that I'm able to quickly organize as I'm writing it.

I'll second that. Import a Markdown checklist into a serie of individual task / subtask would be great !

Nextcloud Polls does something similar : it turns bullet point list from a simple text into individual poll choices for its app.
