Going through an Immersive Portal to another dimension breaks parkour

Detail Using the Immersive Portals mod, which is a Fabric mod running on Forge using Sinytra Connector, if you go through a portal, or use the mod's version of the tp command, to another dimension such as the Nether then this breaks several parkour abilities until you respawn or reload the world. Ways in which abilities break include but may not be limited to: Breakfall cannot be performed. Wall Slide does not prevent or reduce fall damage. Moving quickly under a 1-block gap while crawling, such as by sliding or rolling, makes you take a tick of suffocation damage. Under mysterious circumstances you just can't crawl under gaps at all. Crawling out from under a 1-block gap makes you stand up for 1 tick. Normal sprinting becomes as fast as Fast Run if you were Fast Running into the portal, otherwise Fast Run slows down to normal sprinting speed.
This could be impossible to fix on your end for multiple reasons, and I have no idea why it happens at all, but is being noted here just in case.
