Did the crashes only start happening after you ran this script? What was your previous setup like - you said you used tonymacx86 tools, did you use Clover? I don't...

Hmm, looks like NHI0 (Native Host Interface ACPI device) isn't anywhere to be found. What Thunderbolt-related options do you have in your UEFI settings? System logs would also be useful....
Can you post the output of `bdmesg`? For some reason, the NHI device is missing, and it appears that this device is needed for hotplugging to work.
