Steps to reproduce: just running npm i
Other information:
node: v11.10.1 npm: v6.7.0 OS:10.14.3 (18D109) (Mojave) Chrome: Version 72.0.3626.121 (Official Build) (64-bit)
After spending all morning figuring out, I did the following steps to fix it:

- Install nvm (https://github.com/creationix/nvm)

- Run nvm install 8.9.0
-
- Run npm i (if you get the sass error: "Node Sass could not find a binding for your current environment", then run npm rebuild node-sass, and finally run npm i again.
Not working with node version 11.10.1

After installing node-sass npm install node-sass the npm i ends successfully
Hi,
2 things to try:

In package.json change "node-sass" version to "node-sass": "^7.0.1" or
-
Download and install python 2.7 and then.... npm config set python C:\Python27\python.exe
