Would you please try with https://download.eclipse.org/eclipse/downloads/drops4/I20240329-0530/ ? It should have a workaround for the problem.
Some more investigation pointed that the issue is not there for Text, StyledText and Combo but happens for everything else.
Just to be sure - does it happen when using "Project Explorer" ? We have to be 100% sure that it's not a problem in particular view.
What about running SWT pipeline on releng JIPP? That way we should be able to have all benefits you listed without the extra work.
