Kind of good news! I got a preview version up at @beyerleinf/ngx-dnd. Please test it and tell me if everything is working. I will try to clean up the code and make the demo useable. We should tell the people that opened issues recently to open them on my repo if the new package works.

It works with both, Angular 5 and 6 since this library doesn't use rxjs at all
