When a merge request is received, comment JIRA issue as it has been done for push event.

I've reviewed GitLab and BitBucket, and this is the only feature GitLab is really missing compared to BitBucket.

In Jira you can simply add a 'Trigger' on Create Pull Request and Merge Pull Request in your workflow. So depending on the events the issue will follow the transition.

Do you expect this feature to be implemented any way soon?
