armv7l binary missing for Debian 10 Buster.

Open Cat5TV opened this issue 5 years ago • 3 comments

Similar to #297 and #298 it appears the Buster packages are missing from the repository for the armv7l platform.

Hope it's not too much trouble to fix this.

Thanks! Robbie

armv7l would require more effort than armv8, because it's not something I'm personally interested in. Currently, all build automation is based on the buildpack.sh script, which only supports x86, x86_64 and armv8 at the moment, and packpack and packpack-docker-images, which also needs updates to its armhf branch to include recent distributions, including Buster.

Since my time is limited, I could certainly use some help here.

I wish I knew how to help with this because I'd love to contribute. Hopefully someone in your community can assist. I've been tasked with porting NEMS Linux to an Orange Pi Zero (which is armv7l) and sysbench is what powers our benchmarks. I'll explore whether I can compile it manually for now. Thanks, Alexey.

I presume there are no updates on this, are there?
