Atom.io crashing when commiting and pushing a lot of files at once to git

When I try to commit and push a lot of files at once, it crashed on the commit log page. It asks if I want to keep waiting for the application to respond. When I choose to wait, it never really solved itself.

Sometimes when I re-open Atom.io, it still shows the commit page and crashes again. I have to close the page real quick, or else I am stuck and unable to use Atom.io.

I then have to use the GIT gui to commit and push the files outside Atom.io

How many files are in the commit?

Are you running the commit and push command? If so, is the crash happening after you save and it's trying to push?

There were more than 15+ files. One had like a few hundred.

So i was running a command Add all, commit and push. It never commited nor pushed the info. I got stuck on the commit text area.
