Error when using Ivory, Elk, Pinafore to connect
Greetings,
I'm attempting to use Ivory, Elk and Pinafore to connect to my website wpwatercooler.com I have ActivityPub, Friends and this plugin installed and when I attempt to connect to wpwatercooler.com as an instance I get "contacting server" "client error please try again" in Ivory and Elk and Pinafore "login" but nothing works and I start getting app specific errors. Elk - "ERROR: TypeError: Failed to fetch". Pinafore - "Internet request failed. Showing offline content"
How should I start by debugging this?
The username for the account is wpwatercooler that I'm logging into on wpwatercooler.com
Unfortunately I don't have Ivory available for a lack of an iOS device. Could you check your server's access logs to see which URLs it accesses? Maybe it requires one of the endpoints that are not yet implemented, likely the URLs start with api/
Elk works too for me but be aware that it first redirects you to the local feeds which is an endpoint I haven't implemented yet (since there are no others on your own server... but it should display your own toots after all).
Oh wow, now it's even worse, when I try to login to wpwatercooler.com on Elk it just redirects to an oauth

I am able to connect fine with Pinafore, what's the error message there?
It went from working to not working, seems like Activity Pub just doesnt work reliabily on my SpinupWP (Digital Ocean) with Cloudflare in front of it.

Hm, maybe there is also some caching involved? It'd be interesting to see if any requests make it to the server at all. There is an option to turn off login in settings, though, could you have turned it off accidentally?
