Only standard posts appearing in timeline

I can't quite find where the setting or toggle for where to have status posts from those I'm following appear in my mastodon apps (Tuba and Tusky). Currently only the standard posts appear which is great but only regularly displays posts from blogs and not Mastodon accounts.

Quick thing to check: in the dedicated settings for your app, do you have the Status post format enabled?

Sorry for circling back so late. Could you check if this still is the problem, and if yes, do you have any plugins installed that might modify the querying of posts (i.e. WP_Query).
