I really hope that someday it's possible. Got the Grid+ v3 too and want to use grid-control :-)

Hi, thanks for your comments on Grid+ v3 support, this would indeed be very nice to add to Grid Control.

As far as I know (from some comments on NZXT subreddit), the Grid+ v3 uses USB for communication, compared to the v2 that uses a serial communication (that runs over USB, but handled as a serial port by the operating system). Managing USB communication in Python is a bit more complicated and the communication routine with the Grid unit needs to be rewritten. I did some quick tests a while ago getting some experimental support for the NZXT Kraken devices to work (which uses USB), but I never got that to work.

The good news is that there is a fork of Grid Control (see this project) with working USB support for the Kraken devices. I will only have limited time to look into this myself, but maybe you could bring up the idea with the author of the other project, i.e. to maybe add some tests for Grid+ v3...?

I need to to refactor the code to make it more efficient to maintain before looking into supporting the Grid V3. Not sure when I will have time for this.

I'm afraid I will not be able to look into Grid V3 support myself, but please consider asking on the NZXT subreddit; there are different open source applications available for the NZXT hardware and maybe someone kan look into this.
