Where can I find information about the content and structure of PLY files?

Hi! This is beyond the scope of this repository. I think you need to check three.js framework for more info. If you are asking about splat file - it is just an extension created by the community to denote to gaussian splatting file. Original files of gaussian splatting are ply files.
